Random ramblings cuz I have nothing better to do... or something... :)
This is the site formerly known as Anneke's Haven. Within, you will find information about my previous White Wolf chronicles, and other random gaming related stuff. I also have a blog here, where I talk about pretty much everything and anything, though it's primarily about my exciting life... the definition of exciting definitely being up for debate.
Enjoy your visit, and come back soon!

And I said the Memoirs was gonna be a major project...

On Friday, I started computerizing our "card catalog," which is a bunch of cards that list which documents we have copies of, and a bunch of other info... it's stuff that we should probably have started computerizing some time ago, but we just finally got around to it...

My initial estimate was that I could finish 1/4 of a drawer in a day... there's 18 drawers... so I estimated 3-4 months of work... not bad!

But when I started in on it, I discovered that I'm only doing about 50 cards an hour... and there's something along the lines of 180,000 cards... so that's considerably MORE than I was expecting... and we're now projecting a couple of years for this project... seriously...

So yeah, I'll still try to update, but it might not be of much substance till I get into a good groove of working on cards for a while, then taking a break, and then back into the fray again... joy...

As for movies, we watched two yesterday, as is becoming typical for Sundays... first was "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation," which was just plain silly... I've never seen the original, but this one just seemed goofy to me... if the original is as bloodless as this one, I'll have no problem with it... :)

The other movie was "Very Bad Things," with Christian Slater... THIS one had a lot more blood and death and destruction... overall, very good, though Cameron Diaz's character REALLY grated on me... must be cuz I've known girls like her... (not naming any names...)
