Starting things off with the Friday Five!

1. What was your most memorable moment from the last week? Hmmm... I guess going out to lunch for my birthday...

2. What one person touched your life this week? Gabe, of course! :)

3. How have you helped someone this week? Ummmm... I helped some girl find the old DEs on microfilm... does that count?

4. What one thing do you need to get done by this time next week? My Garou background... that would be good...

5. What one thing will you do over the next seven days to make your world a better place? Clean the bathroom... that will definitely help... :)

Yeah, okay, so I'm a bit irreverent... isn't that why you love me, though? :)

I don't have any End of the Work Week Wisdom this week... call it a week off, on account of my birthday... :)

I have discovered the evil world that is user created skins for "The Sims"... I got 6 new outfits and 4 or 5 new faces yesterday... I say 4 or 5 new faces because one of the outfits came with a face, but I don't really like it... so I'll probably delete it... :) Got a REALLY nice Armand face and skin though... looks a lot like Antonio Banderas... w00t! :)

Board games tonight, LARP tomorrow, Wrestlemania on Sunday... wow, I'm such a geek... hehehe... :)

So I finished off my birthday haul last night... and this is when it became a haul, really... :)

As I said yesterday, my mom sent me a gift card for Target... well, while at work yesterday, my boss got a coupon for Staples, which he gave to me... sooooo... we headed out to Target after dinner last night. I was pondering getting "The Sims Deluxe," and looked at it there... $40... yuck... but it had this really kewl thing on it to make new clothes for your Sims... but Gabe suggested that we could look for it at Staples, and maybe use my coupon there for it (cuz what else are we gonna buy at Staples?!)... so instead, I got "The Matrix" on DVD, and "Office Space" on VHS... kewl... all told, spent just over $7... :)

So then it's off to Staples, where we toured the lovely Best Inn parking lot accidentally... but as we pull in to the parking lot at Staples, I see Megan's car... cuz she works there... :) So we walk in, and she's working, so I stuck my tongue out and walked all the way to where she was before she noticed us... silly girl... :) Anyways, I showed her my cool coupon (it was a plastic card type coupon), and told her I didn't know what to get... well, she offered to maybe go in on whatever I was getting, for my b-day present (since she had FORGOTTEN my b-day... *sigh*...)... so we went and found "The Sims Deluxe," but it was $50!!!! There was a sticker for a $10 rebate if you already had "The Sims," but still! So we wandered around for a little longer, and Gabe offered to go in on "The Sims Deluxe" with me... so that sounded good... and he found "Caesar III," so he decided to pick that up for himself.

So we went up to check out, and I told Megan that Staples sucked, cuz Target was selling "The Sims Deluxe" for $10 cheaper... and she said "oh, well if they have it in stock, we can sell it for cheaper... and we have a 110% price match thing." So hey, that worked out well! :) Unfortunately, the rebate thing had expired... but ah well... I guess I'll take back saying that Staples sucks, now... :)

And "The Sims Deluxe" ROCKS! There are a few new furniture and decoration things, most notably Roman stuff, which Gabe is absolutely loving... and new clothes... and the thing to make new clothes on your own is neat, though I'm not entirely sure how it works yet... must work on that... I made one outfit, but the pants length was off, and so it looks like she's wearing baggy jeans tucked into her boots... it's an okay look, just not what I was going for... *sigh*...

So, obviously, no movies last night, as we were too busy playing our kewl new games... :)

Brrr... it got cold overnight! Musta been all of that rain... *sigh*...

I do have to note, however, that the next time it rains, and is windy, I have to get someone to take a picture of me... cuz my hair does this really kewl floaty thing when I have my umbrella up... like the wind gets under it, and makes it all float around... I imagine it looks something like how Drew Barrymore's hair looked in "Firestarter"... :) And wouldn't it be kewl to have a picture of me that makes me look like I'm possessed or something? :)

So we watched "Party Girl" last night, because Dana rented it for me, for my birthday... it seemed to be lacking in the plot department... or at least we couldn't follow it... I guess it was kinda cute... and, as I said, "well, at least we didn't pay for it"... :)

My mom sent me a Target gift card, so I'll be getting something new on DVD whenever I finally get out to Target... which may be a while, since it's half an hour away, and we're lazy... :)

And two of my darling siblings called me last night for my birthday, but one... *cough*Megan*cough* musta been busy working... :p So, to make up for it... bring me candy, girl! :) Hehehe... :)

Happy birthday to me... and stuff...

Missed the Monday Mission yesterday, cuz it got posted later than usual... and it's all about death and funerals and such, so we'll decline on that one...

Leaving work shortly, as my boss is taking us all out for lunch, for my b-day... w00t! :)

Didn't watch a movie last night, amazingly enough... I was trying to put The Sims back on my laptop (just the original, Livin' Large, and House Party, so that I can play the "easy" version when Gabe plays the full version on my other computer), but the Livin' Large disk is screwy, somehow... but we did end up downloading a bunch of junk to make stuff for The Sims... so that ought to keep us entertained for a while... :) There are still a few more things to get, but we'll see if I actually get them... downloading on a 56K modem takes a while! :)

Yet another Monday... woo hoo... or something... :)

So the horror movie that I had promised ended up not getting watched, because IMDB said it was really bad... but if you wanna see it, it was "Spectre"... a.k.a. "House of the Damned"... yeah...

But we watched "Four Rooms" last night, which is always a fun movie... "Don't misbehave!"... heheheh... :)

Other than that, it was a nice weekend... wonderful weather, good games both nights, etc...

Oh, and I forgot about the movie for last night, which was "Shakespeare in Love"... well, it was a little historically inaccurate, but it was still cute... so I liked it... :)

Now, it's about time for me to head home, to see what Gabe has concocted for lunch... the one nice thing about living so close to work... :)

Friday Five!

1. If you had the chance to meet someone you've never met, from the past or present, who would it be? So many choices! :) If I went with someone modern, it would probably be one of the people from my favorite bands... Jon Crosby (VAST), Peter Steele (Type O Negative), or Rogue (The Crüxshadows), most likely. Or I could go for meeting Neil Gaiman... *shrug*... If I went with someone from the past, there's still a lot of choices... so I really don't know who I'd choose!

2. If you had to live in a different century, past or future, which would it be? I could totally deal with living in the 19th century, as long as it were the latter half of the 19th century... :)

3. If you had to move anywhere else on Earth, where would it be? Oooh, too many choices... St. Louis is good, sometimes... I really love Phoenix and Madison, but I dunno if I would like living there... England could be fun, but very different... as much as I'd like to say Germany, I would have to learn German really quickly, if that were to actually happen...

4. If you had to be a fictional character, who would it be? Death from the Sandman comics. Not necessarily for the occupation, but being her would be kinda neat. :)

5. If you had to live with having someone else's face as your own for the rest of your life, whose would it be? Winona Ryder? :)

End of the Work Week Wisdom: (as promised)
First question: am I your trained monkey?
--Bruce Campbell, in response to a request to do the laugh from the end of Evil Dead 2

::..::

And in other news, lots of gaming in store for the weekend, as both our games run this weekend... so tonight, dealing with my now extended pack (we went from 3 members to 5 members + 1 probationary member in the span of a few minutes) and actually being in the city that I'm the bishop of... :) Tomorrow night, the usual Forgotten madness... nothing big in the works for that yet, but you never know what I'll come up with if I'm bored tomorrow before game... FEAR the bored SWG! :)

Wow... there were a LOT of people at the Bruce Campbell lecture last night... I was seriously surprised by how many people showed up. Luckily, we got there early enough to get decent seats (maybe 10-12 rows back, on the side), and managed to save seats for Cindy and Karac as well... so that was an accomplishment!

We took our "Army of Darkness" DVD to get the liner signed, but when we arrived, they had signs up saying that he would only be signing books... *sigh*... that's okay, though, because to get your book signed, you had to get a little slip of paper... I originally heard that they only had 120 of these, but when we talked to Ian afterwards, he had #200 something... at any rate, Cindy didn't get a number, but she was gonna stick around to see if she could get her book signed anyway... hopefully she did!

Let's see... the lecture was great... very interesting, and informative... I wanna know who he gets to do his research for him, and find out if I can get a similar job... hehehehe... that's something I could do from home, in my pajamas! :) The questions more or less sucked, because he called on a large number of stupid people... there were a few exceptions, but not many... but at least when people asked dumb questions, he went off on them... :) Trust me, the EotWWW tomorrow is gonna be a Bruce Campbell quote... :)

The one that just made me shake my head the most, though, was when someone asked him about Kevin Smith's death. A LOT of people were all freaking out over that one, cuz they thought this person was asking about the Kevin Smith who made Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, etc.... but no, Kevin Smith was also the name of the actor who played Ares (why does that look misspelled?) on Xena and Hercules... *I* knew what they were talking about... but most people didn't! I guess maybe I watched more Xena and Hercules than I thought I did... :)

Anyways, all in all, a good night... would be awesome if the SPC could get more kewl FREE speakers... :) Or maybe I should just remember to go to more of them... :)

w00t! It stopped raining, and is really nice out... of course, I'm still all cooped up at work... :) But at least I don't have to walk home in the rain now!

Bruce Campbell is at 7:30... that is weird-ish... we thought it should be at 7:00, cuz that's when most normal evening events would start... we're going to see how long the line to get stuff signed is, and then decide whether or not we want to get our Army of Darkness DVD signed... the case, obviously, not the DVD itself... :)

Yeah, I'm bored and don't wanna work right now... it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so warm in here... but, yet again, archaic heating and cooling systems are the worst part about this library... well, leaking ceilings are bad too, but we haven't (*knock on wood*) had that problem lately...

I finally got to see "Trainspotting" last night... and with the exception of a very few scenes, I liked it a lot! See, when I was in undergrad, I had been warned away from the movie by one of my friends, who said there was a whole lot of gross stuff in it that I wouldn't like... well, now that I've seen it, either I'm a lot more jaded now, or said friend was being really overprotective of me...

I've decided that I ought to come up with a rating system for movies... maybe with cute little icons and everything... so far I've thought of doing "fangs," but that seems really dumb... the other option at this point was either fish or frogs (to go along with the Delirium idea of "fishies and froggies")... I like fish better, at the moment... because then it goes well with "I am following my fish"... :) And yes, I pondered doing "screams," or something like that, that goes well with the Scary White Girl idea, but "screams" seems only appropriate for horror movies, and I don't watch many of those...

But, as a teaser, there is a horror movie sitting in the Blockbuster bag right now... which means I'll get to that soon! :)

In exciting news, Bruce Campbell will be here on campus tonight... I do believe we'll be going to see him... :) I really should have snagged his autobiography last week when I found it... but I was lazy, and didn't... :) Cuz if I bought it, I'd really feel obligated to read it right away! :)

Oh, that reminds me... I finally finished re-reading "The Vampire Lestat"! Now it's on to "Queen of the Damned," I suppose... *sigh*... I have to get through the books again, so I can get to the newer ones (like "Blood and Gold" and such)... well, at least there's only about a month and a half left of classes... then I might feel like reading again in my spare time... :)

Well, the movie for last night was "Basquiat"... I get the impression that I really didn't get it... :) There were a lot of famous folks in it, playing assorted well-known and not-so-well-known New York artists (David Bowie was AWESOME as Andy Warhol)... but aside from that, I really didn't get it... it's odd, because Gabe asked "Why have we never heard of this guy?" (meaning Jean-Michel Basquiat)... and I couldn't figure it out... there wasn't any sense that like someone else had claimed credit for his work, or anything like that... and he was supposed to have had shows all over the globe and such... so I'm rather confused on that point...

Oh, and I tried to post yesterday, but it didn't go through... SIUC is in the NCAA tournament... playing University of Missouri at Columbia in the first round... I have a feeling that if the first game is Friday, I'll either be at work or at game... so I won't be watching it... but I'm hoping SIUC wins! :)

Well, I tried to post last night, about my vacation, but it didn't work... so the summary of the vacation will now be: it was fun... lots of fun... and Jason is from across the river... :)

We watched "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" last night, which was great fun! It's a musical, but not the annoying kind of musical where people break into song for no good reason... this is all songs for good reasons... :)

Other than that, I watched a few bits and pieces of movies while on vacation... saw a little bit of "A Knight's Tale"... not enough to get a really good opinion of it though... got to see most of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" (before I fell asleep one night)... and I think I watched something else, but I can't remember right now... :)

And now, the Monday Mission!

1. Do you have any plans for "Spring Break" this year? Our Spring Break was last week, so it's over and done with... but the plans, as they were, were to go to St. Louis, putz around, and meet up with some people... specifically, Gabe's friend Dave, who I had never met, and a whole pack of my friends from E-ville and such...

2. Did you ever have any wild Spring Break experiences? C'mon, tell me the stories! 15 people, in a back room type area of a small Italian restaurant, plus some alcoholic beverages... you do the math... :)

3. What is your most memorable vacation of your youth? South Carolina and Disney World... got to meet parts of my mom's family, and go play at the great big Disney park... w00t... :)

4. What was the best vacation you've ever had as an adult? I haven't gone on a whole lot of vacations since I "grew up"... but this last one was fun! :) New Orleans would have been good, except for my knees (go back about a year into my archives, if you're confused)... so I'm planning to do another New Orleans vacation someday... :)

5. Now, what is that "Dream Vacation" that you have always wanted to take if you had the time & money? Europe. Without a doubt.

6. Have you ever take, or had the urge to take, a "blog vacation?" That is, just taking some time off from blogging? I dunno, I was thinking about it last night, when my really long entry got eaten!

7. You know how you get that creepy "danger" vibe you sometimes get from people you don't know? Has that ever turned out to be right? Or have you ever had a bad feeling about someone or a situation and not listened to that "little voice?" Hmmm... well, there are some people that I have defined as "slimy," or "shady"... in the previous case, it turned out accurate... in the latter case, not as much...

Now time to work! :)

Grr... I was going to post a big ole rant about "Queen of the Damned," but then I hit ESC a few too many times, and lost all of it... grrr...

So anyways, yeah... we're getting ready to go up to St. Louis for a few days, so I won't be around to post until Saturday at the earliest... though I wouldn't expect anything to be posted until Monday... :) If one of the Tuesday thingies comes up shortly, I may post again today, but if not, have a good rest of the week, and weekend, and I'll see you all when I return... :)

Monday Mission is finally up! :)

1. What is the most boring project you have ever had to do? Hmmm... the carding and filing of "Grant's grocery lists" (as Gabe called them) was pretty damn boring... maybe not the most boring, but the most boring in recent memory!

2. If you could be anyone or anything you wish, who or what would you want to be? Why? I have no desire to be someone different from me, but if I could be me with a job that involves staying home and wearing my pajamas all day, I would be the happiest girl ever!

3. What is one thing you refuse to ever put in your mouth? There are a great many things that I refuse to put into my mouth... most of them are things that don't belong in my mouth in the first place. And as for food, the little peppers that they put in sesame beef are (from what I've been warned) pretty toxic... so I avoid those... :)

4.If you could film a documentary about yourself and have yourself followed for 1 day, what would that day look like? And why? World's Most Boring Documentary Ever! :) Unless I knew about it in advance, and got to plan the events of the day to appeal to the camera... in that case, I'd probably want to be in St. Louis, rather than here... but it would probably involve me wandering around and looking at stuff, and shopping, and maybe LARPing... okay, definitely LARPing! :)

5. What is the longest distance you have ever traveled to meet someone for the first time (blind date, blogger meet-up, etc). Was it worth the trip? I haven't done much in the way of travelling to meet people I've never met before... I think one time we went from my dad's house to Crestwood to meet some BBSers... so that would be about half an hour! :)

6. What do people usually assume about you that isn't true? I think the most common assumption is that I'm a lot younger than I really am... I do look a LOT younger than my actual age... this, however, is a good thing... I'll gladly be carded for beer for the rest of my life, if I can keep looking young! :)

7. What are you craving for lunch today? Well, I already had lunch today... and I already know that I'm having tacos for dinner... but mentioning the sesame beef (above) makes me wish I could have that instead... but the ground beef for tacos is probably already thawed, and it will probably already be partially cooked by the time I get home... :)

"Just another manic Monday..."

Hehehe... for some odd reason, I felt the need to say that, even though, thus far, today has not been in the slightest bit manic... :) Cold out, sure, but not manic... :)

Movies over the weekend were good. Saw "Gods and Generals" on Saturday night. It was very long, but rather good. The intermission was nice, even though it inspired people to go ask the theater people to turn down the heat... I was comfortable! Then they opened the doors, and I had to put my sweater back on! :( Right, that tells you NOTHING about the movie. It was good, like I said. Not too gory, either, which is one of the reasons I often don't like war movies...

Last night, we watched "Strictly Ballroom," which was the last disk in the Red Curtain Trilogy box set that I bought a little while ago. Very funny... and the costumes... GAH! I have never seen that many ruffles before in my life! But yeah, not a bad movie, all in all! :)

Saw a couple of previews on that disk, however, for movies that I've decided I really wanna see. "Chocolat" (no, I've never seen it!), and "Basquiat" (I hope I spelled that right)... the latter has just about EVERYONE in it... David Bowie, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper... wow! Looks interesting, too! :)

Oh, and though I'll probably wait for it to come out on video, they showed a preview for "Dreamcatcher" on Saturday night... it's apparently based on a Stephen King novel (that I've never heard of)... and Jason Lee and Donnie Wahlberg are in it... yeah, that Donnie Wahlberg... of NKOTB fame... :)

Monday Mission later, I hope! :)

Here's the Friday Five!

1. What was the last song you heard? Hmmm... this is hard for me to remember, because since I woke up this morning, I've had "Monument" by The Crüxshadows stuck in my head. This isn't a bad thing, it just precludes me from remembering what the last song that was played last night was... :)

2. What were the last two movies you saw? The Royal Tenenbaums (last night), and Session 9 (night before last)

3. What were the last three things you purchased? A really nice skillet with a lid, another set of cheap plastic plates (to replace the ones that are about to crack in half), and I guess my new purple backpack (for game, of course!)

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend? Dishes, grocery shopping, laundry, and... I was gonna say homework, till I remembered that I don't have classes next week! :) So... probably some cleaning...

5. Who are the last five people you talked to?My boss, two co-workers, Gabe, and Megan... at least talked to in person or on the phone... if we're counting E-mail, then the list changes substantially... :)

::..::

"End of the Work Week Wisdom":*
Common sense is that layer of prejudices laid down in the mind prior to the age of 18.
--Albert Einstein

I dunno, it was in my calendar! :)

* - Gabe had a much better End of the Work Week Wisdom for me, but as he came up with it on Sunday or Monday, and we forgot to write it down, it is thus lost... :(

::..::

And, as it says above, we watched "The Royal Tenenbaums" last night... we had both seen it before, but it had been a while... this time around, we just skipped the whole scene where Richie is in the bathroom (note, I'm being really careful to not spoil it for anyone)... unfortunately, that meant that we missed another scene, which I like very much (again, no spoilers here!)... but basically, if you haven't seen this movie, you should... it's extremely funny! And even though Ben Stiller is usually the funniest part of just about any movie he's in, in this one, he's not the funniest! :)

So as for the weekend, game tonight, but no game tomorrow night. I think we're gonna try to go see "Gods & Generals" tomorrow night... which means I need to remember to sleep late tomorrow morning, so that I don't fall asleep in a 3 hour movie! :) Spring Break starts Monday, which means that Gabe is off school all next week... as for me, I only work Monday and Tuesday, and then have the rest of the week off... w00t! :)

Let's see here... recent movies... Tuesday night we watched "To Die For," which was VERY funny... at least I thought it was very funny... it's sort of darkly humorous, so if you like that sort of thing, I'd recommend it! :)

And then last night we watched "Session 9." Bad. movie. But, we had rented it for a reason... it was filmed in the Danvers Mental Hospital, which is a very creepy looking old asylum in Massachusetts... which also happens to have some parallels in the Forgotten... like the asylum that we deal with has been converted to look JUST like Danvers... so we wanted to get a good look at the place, because though the pictures Thor found were very nice, it was really kewl to see it "live," so to speak... anyways, the movie sucked, the acting was even worse, but the building was way nifty! :)

So now I'm sitting at work, working (of all things), and playing on the internet... hehehe... :)

Nope, didn't watch "The Ring" last night... mainly because we just weren't all that thrilled about it... saw Dan and Minta, but no one else we were expecting to see there... so we went home and played our individual Civ games (original for me, Civ III for Gabe)... all in all, I'd say it was more fun than a scary movie anyway! :)

At any rate, we'll probably rent "The Ring" eventually... seeing as it comes out today and all... of course, that's AFTER all the other movies we want to see stop being 2 day rentals, and go to a full week... we're just too lazy to do the 2 day rental thing... :)

This looks interesting... it's the Top 5 Tuesday

"This week's topic should hit home for a lot of people, since i don't know anyone who hasn't spent hours selecting tracks to build the perfect mix tape (or more recently CD) for that perfect occasion or special someone. The beauty of these homemade collections is that when the dust has settled and the recording is done, you get to appropriately name your masterpiece. My list is just as much about the content and purpose of the mixes as it is about the titles, and i'm sure there are some outrageous titles that will make an appearance, so dig out those old cassettes or new CDs that you have lovingly assembled into the soundtrack of your life and list it in the Top 5 Mix Tape Names."

My Top 5 Mix Tape Names:

1. Kick The Baby Mix: Although I didn't make (or name) this one, it's one of my favorite titles. My friend Candra made me a mix tape of techno type stuff. Knowing how much I loved the episode of South Park with: "Ready Ike? Kick the baby!" "Don't kick the baby!" "Kick the baby!", she named it after that. It's quite a good tape, with my first exposure to a number of good techno artists, and some nice remixes of songs that I really liked!

2. Modern Rock? Dream Mode: This tape is really bizarre, because it was really just me trying to pile a bunch of stuff on to one tape, so that I would have it in one place. It starts of with (as much as I hate to admit it) Jewel on Modern Rock Live, doing, among other things, a yodeling song... that is followed by a couple of tracks from the "Labyrinth" soundtrack, and then some tracks from the "Dream a Little Dream" soundtrack. And then the end of the tape is Depeche Mode. The name for the tape came from the various elements of the tape... Modern Rock Live / Labyrinth / Dream a Little Dream / Depeche Mode... cheezy, I know.

3. G-Minor Morning: The title of this mix tape is taken straight out of a Lemonhead's song, "Dawn Can't Decide" (which is a favorite of mine)... that song is on the tape, as well as a lot of other early 90s alternative / grunge / garage type stuff... it's VERY dated... :)

4. Multitudes of Thoughtless Clones: Another title I ripped out of a song, this time Bad Religion (actually, it may be a title of their song... can't remember). This tape is, I think, stuff like Sheryl Crow and Beck... which don't EVEN go together, but I had one tape, and a wide array of music to get on there... :) And yes, I think there is Bad Religion on that tape as well... :)

5. Girls and Boys (well, sorta): This was a mix tape I made while visiting my friend Jamie in Arizona, by raiding her CD stash, which included a lot of stuff that I didn't have. The first side was all male bands / singers, the second side was meant to be all female. BUT, after I had made the bulk of the tape, as well as some other tapes, I found a song that I REALLY wanted to have (the title of which I can't recall now, but it's by Frankie Goes to Hollywood), and had to squeeze that on the end of the female side... so it's mostly divided by gender, but not quite...

Well, that wasn't the easiest thing I've done, but I got through it! :) I would have put on some of my CDs as well, but seeing as they have titles like "Morgan", that's not really all that clever... :(

Kewl, the Monday Mission is up now! :)

1. Are there any television commercials on these days that are among your favorites? What is your favorite television commercial from your childhood? Don't watch a lot of TV + BAD local commercials = no favorite current commercial. Most of the ones I liked before were pretty goofy, and I mainly liked them because the songs in them were sooooo infectious... like the Goldfish commercial ("I love the fishes cuz they're so delicious...") or the damn Chex commercial ("I I love love double double Chex Chex...")... yeah... goofy...

2. Sometimes we see ourselves as different than we actually are. For example, I like to think I am a pretty outgoing person, but in reality, I would be perfectly happy if I were left alone. How about you? Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Would others agree with you? I'm weird about things like that. I am fairly shy, don't like talking to strangers, etc. But sometimes, I'm okay with that... it sticks out the most around gamers, or gamer friendlies... which I seem to have a sixth sense for... like when Nathan and I were in Champaign, and were trying to find food... a girl walked by, and offered to show us where a good Chinese place was... so we followed her, and she asked what we were there for... Nathan's reponse was "theater stuff", while mine was "vampire LARP"... turns out the girl knew the LARPers, and wasn't freaked out... :) But the short answer is, if I meet another gamer, I'm instantly at ease with them, and am a lot more chatty... :)

3. What kind of a worker are you? Do you like a job where you have a daily routine that you can count on every day? Or do you prefer to be in an environment where there is constant change and you never know what to expect from one day to the next? I do like having some structure to my day, but, at the same time, I want the parts of it that go around the structure to be more flexible. I don't think I could handle having every block of my time pre-filled with activity. That was what school (before college) was for.

4. I've found that when I go out for a business lunch or any type of meeting where you have to speak, a salad makes the best meal choice. It isn't sloppy and makes it easy to pause for conversation. I would think the same would be true for first dates. When you've gone out on first dates, what sort of decisions would go into your choice of dinner? Price? Ease of conversation? The "messiness" factor? What are these "date" things that you speak of? :) It has been AGES since I've had a first date type thing that involved food... I'm not even sure how to answer this question!

5. "It's grouper" "Two Dollars!" "By choice, man!" The Donger need food!" are just a few of the movie quote that I can recite off the top of my head. These (and oh so many others) come up in the most unusual and inappropriate situations. Usually no one but me "gets it." Doesn't matter, I still have a good laugh. What are some of your all-time favorite movie quotes? The most common is "Have fun storming the castle!", to which I have trained Gabe to respond with the next line ("Think it'll work?"), that I follow up with "It would take a miracle"... but that's just mostly us being silly... :)

6. What if it happened. All of creation is gone. Wiped out. And then come to find out that that there is no reincarnation, no chance to live life over again, no second chance. Turned out, there really was a God and Heaven and Hell. How would that make you feel? Do you want to go to Heaven? Well, if all of the things I've been told over the years are true, I'd be in hell... ah well!

7. Should everyone be allowed into Heaven? Or should there be criteria? If you were making up the guest list for Heaven, how would you choose who gets in? I suppose the idea of heaven requires some criteria, otherwise why is it seen as worthwhile to live a good life? As for a guest list, I'd rather write one for hell, because that would be where the good parties would be anyhow... :)

Yeah, I'm a bad person... >;)

Here I am, on yet another Monday. Monday Mission isn't up yet, so maybe that will come later in the day... we shall see! :)

For now, just another movie we watched... "Dracula: The Dark Prince," which was actually on USA a few years ago on Halloween. It's not actually a vampire movie, but more of an historical movie... sorta. At any rate, it's quite good, and the dude who plays Dracula is made for the part. It also has Jane March in it, who, I believe, is in "The Color of Night," with Bruce Willis. Oh, and Roger Daltrey is in it as well... :)

The weather here is still rather cold, though it's looking like 50s by this weekend... after a touch more snow... grrr... I am very much looking forward to a good 6 or so months with no snow... at LEAST 6 months, PLEASE?! :)

Well, time to work or something... looks like I'm going to see "The Ring" and "Ringu" (the Japanese (& original) version of "The Ring") tonight... I probably won't sleep for a good long time... :)
