No, I don't update much... it's because I'm a slacker... :):: Monday, December 15, 2003 ::
We saw "Return of the King" on Wednesday night, and it was very awesome... hot elf, sweet bow, and all that other good stuff too... :)
We watched "LXG" last night, Gabe having bought it on Tuesday... it's such a good movie... :)
I read about a new game that I need to purchase, called Deliria... it's a Changeling-esque game, from what I've read, and also very reminiscent of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere... hmmm... sounds a lot like my old TT Changeling game... so I have to pick it up... :) What can I say, I like faeries! :)
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. Today is the last day I have to work until January 5th, so don't expect much in the way of updates... :)

We went and saw "The Last Samurai" on Friday night... awesome movie! The violence is not too bad, really, even for a slightly squeamish person... :) The story is a little bit predictable, but it's just so cool!:: Wednesday, December 10, 2003 ::
But, of course, I'm really looking forward to "The Return of the King" on Wednesday... we've got our tickets for the 7 p.m. show... we would go to the midnight show if I didn't have to work on Wednesday... ;)
Speaking of LotR in general, Gabe's little brother got the LotR Trivial Pursuit... played it last night with him, Gabe, and their dad... Gabe kicked all our asses... at least I had a couple of pie pieces! :)

Um... wow... I forgot to update for a while... :):: Monday, December 01, 2003 ::
Well, it didn't help matters any that I was sick both Thursday and Friday last week... and a little on Saturday and Sunday, too... :(
And, really, I haven't done much of anything exciting lately... :)
We finally watched "Pirates of the Carribean" on Sunday... still a good movie... :)
We're thinking about seeing "The Last Samurai" this Friday... we've been told it's far better than even Pirates... doubt it, but we'll go anyhow... :)
And a week from today, "The Return of the King"... all kinds of w00t! :)
But for now, back to work... same old same old...

Wow... we watched a whole bunch of movies this weekend... all new DVD purchases, as there were a lot of good deals...
We found out on Thursday that we could get "28 Days Later" for $12 if we went to Best Buy on Friday morning... so we hauled ourselves out of bed around 9:30 a.m., and braved the crowds... aside from barely being able to move down the aisles, it wasn't too bad of an experience... especially when they opened up more lanes at the Service Desk, and we were the first ones in line... :)
As for that movie, of course it was good... that's why we bought it... :) I do have to say, however, that I'm glad they used the ending that they chose. I would have preferred the movie to end at the car crash, personally... but out of the 3 possibilities on the DVD, I like the one we saw in the theatre the best... :)
Saturday, I found "Ghost Ship" and "Thirteen Ghosts" for $18 together, so I picked those up... "Ghost Ship" we had seen before, and really liked... "Thirteen Ghosts" we hadn't seen, and hadn't heard much good about it, but Cindy said it was okay... at any rate, I would have paid $20 for "Ghost Ship" alone, so it was a good deal... :)
"Thirteen Ghosts" wasn't the greatest, though it was tolerable... some of the special effects are pretty kewl, at least... but the big CGI machine is kinda silly... :)
And "Ghost Ship" is even better on the second viewing, I think... yeah, you know what's gonna happen, but it's still neat... :)
Also, on Saturday, I saw that they had a Spawn DVD in the $6 bin at Wal-Mart... Cindy said it was the HBO cartoon... after I told Gabe about it, he said we should go double check, and buy it if it was the cartoon... it was, so we got it, and watched it yesterday too... not bad, really... I've only ever seen part of the movie, and never read the comic, but I liked it... the plot was actually decent... very convoluted and such! :)
So that's all for this past weekend... which is more than enough, really... :)
