Well, rather than run down all of the movies I've watched this past week, which was a lot, but mostly things I own and have already seen many many times, I've just got one movie to mention this week.
"Napoleon Dynamite." Rock on.
Now I know at least a couple of people who hated this movie. But I still wanted to see it anyway. And I ended up loving it.
Yes, it's kinda odd. Yeah, it's a bit slow, overall. And yeah, definitely weird as hell. But it's hilarious!
I think part of the reason I may have liked it was because I _knew_ that kind of person when I was in high school. I hung out with the geeks. And while my friends weren't quite as bad as Napoleon and Pedro and Deb, there were times when we weren't far off... :) I think I might have liked it so much because I was like "wow, we were geeks, but we were never THAT geeky... that makes us a little cool..." :)
Anyways, yeah. Good movie. I liked it, and that's what matters... :)

In other news, Brat Pack ROCKED, though I am a little sad that their show had to overlap with the Punk Rock Prom, because Thor told me that one of the bands there might be doing an all Cure cover set... damn...
