The best place to buy stuff from me when I'm not at a craft fair is Etsy. You can find my Etsy shop at: ScaryWhiteGirl Designs. Hats: I crochet four main styles of hats. These hats are predominantly made from acrylic yarn, but some include small quantities of other synthetic fibers. The "rasta" hats can be made out of cotton yarn, as explained below. I very rarely use wool yarn in my hats, and when I do, it is pre-shrunk. All of these hats can be machine washed and dried. They can be made in virtually any color combination imaginable, or can be a solid color or varigated. |
| Picture to come | Beanie-style hats. Whether you call them beanies, sock hats, or by some other name, these are fitted hats suitable for men or women, adults or children, to wear. They are one size fits most, and though they will be large on a young child, this gives the child room to grow. |

Fitted hats with a ruffle around the bottom. These are basic beanie style hats, but rather than remaining fitted completely throughout the hat, they have a ruffle around the bottom, for a little bit of feminine flair. The ruffle also serves to keep the sun out of your eyes. This style is more geared towards women and girls. |
| Picture to come | "Rasta" hats. I don't really know what to call these other than "rasta" hats, but I suppose dread hats would also work. These hats are designed for people with dreadlocks who want to keep their hair covered up, but can be worn by pretty much anyone. The lower portion of the hat will fit about the same as a beanie will, while the upper portion drapes naturally or if filled with hair. I make some "rasta" hats out of cotton yarn, which allows your head to breathe in hot weather, but does not stretch as well as acrylic yarn. |
| Picture to come | Ribbed hats with earflaps and a pom-pom on top. I don't have a clever name for these hats either, other than to refer to them as "Jayne hats." That's because the first hats I made in this style were modeled after a hat worn by Jayne Cobb on the TV show "Firefly." So if you're familiar with that show, you understand what I mean. If not, well, the description pretty well covers it. These are also fitted hats, and the earflaps can be tied under your chin to keep them extra warm. |
Kitchen Accessories: I also crochet pot-holders and placemats, from 100% cotton yarn. The pot-holders are thick, and measure about 8 inches square. The placemats are only slightly thinner, and measure about 12 inches by 16 inches. All of these items can be machine washed and dried. The color selection for these is not as vast as it could be, but most colors are available.
Other Crocheted Goods: Pretty much anything you can think of, I can probably crochet. I have made scarves (including one Dr. Who scarf), stuffed animals, afghans, and many other items. If you are interested in a custom crocheted item, please contact me with what you are looking for, and I will let you know if it's something I can do!
